American League 2026
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY.
The American League is for ages 4 (must turn 5 prior to August 1) through 18 (must still be in high school if 18). All divisions except Colt have minimum participation rules. All players register with LSBA. American League is our Spring/Summer recreational league.
You will be registering for the program that matches up with your child's grade
FOR THE COMING FALL
. For TBall, your child must turn 5 prior to August 1 this year. Each division moves up in grade from there.
Please note:
American League may play games on both weeknights and weekends.
ON-TIME registration ends on February 27. A late fee of $25 will apply starting on February 28. LATE registration ends on March 14 but leagues may fill prior to that date.
Refunds are offered through March 14 but there will be a $50 cancellation fee.
All players will need to supply LSBA with a copy of the player's birth certificate or passport. Please upload a copy via the form when signing up your child.
The prices shown below are the base prices. Late Fees will apply according to the dates listed.

LSBA Competitive League 2026
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY!
The Lee's Summit Baseball Association is excited to offer our LSBA Competitive League in 2026. The LSBA Competitive League is a revamped version of our competitive National League program that is focused on early season player development and preparation for the competitive tournament season.
Registration will open at 8am on January 2, 2026.
LSBA Competitive League Schedule
Each team in the LSBA Competitive League will play a total of 8 games against other competitive teams of the same age. Those games will be played over a period of 6 weeks, as follows:
Each team will play 2 games per week as a double header night. Games will be played Monday thru Thursday. Games will start April 6 and end by May 15, weather permitting, with possible extension to May 23 if needed. Each team will get 2 practices per week in March (1 weekday, 1 weekend), and 1 practice a week in April (weekend only). Practices will end April 26. Anyone caught using the fields without permission will be removed from the league without refund.
Games are dependent on the weather. A schedule will be provided at the beginning of the season. If there is inclement weather during these dates we will reschedule the games as necessary. We will also have temperature limitations in place for games in April. That limitation will be a wind chill forecast of less than 45 degrees. This can be decided up to 48 hours prior to games, and if the forecast is inaccurate and wind chill temperatures at game time are below 45 but above 40, games will be played. If the wind chill is 40 or below at game time, games will be canceled, postponed, or delayed depending on the forecast for that day.
Registration Fees
8U: $1050 per team plus $15 admin fee ($100 deposit to hold your spot)
9U-14U: $1,500 per team plus $15 admin fee ($100 deposit to hold your spot)
Cancellation of Games
We will do our best to reschedule any games that are canceled due to inclement weather or temperatures.
Additional Information
If a division has fewer than 4 teams registered when the registration period ends, we will refund the registration fees for those teams or they may choose to play up in a different division. If a division has 4 or more teams when the registration period ends and a team decides to back out, we will NOT refund the registration fees for the team that backs out.
Each team shall be required to provide a scorekeeper. Both teams shall require their scorekeeper to use GameChanger. Within 24 hours of the conclusion of each game, both teams shall submit a pdf copy of their box scores to the League to track pitching. Email address will be provided.
