Tryout Information
Want a tryout posted? Tryouts will be posted for any team that has paid their $500 non-refundable deposit for entry into the LSBA National League for the 2012 Spring season. Send an email to webmaster@lsbaseball.com that meets the following criteria: the team must be registered to play in a Lee’s Summit league; must include team name and contact info; must be 100 words or less; all ads will be removed 30 days from being posted or after the date of the tryout. (If your posting includes a date for tryouts at Legacy, you must have already paid your field rental fee before posting). If you have not paid your deposit to sign up for the LSBA National League 2012 Spring season & want to post a tryout, please mail a check for $75 along with the wording you want posted on our website. Your $75 fee will be credited to your LSBA National League entry fee, if you register a team. Mail the check and wording to: LSBA, PO Box 1415, Lee's Summit, MO 64063. Please note that postings must be for a Lee's Summit based team or team playing in an LS League.
The Blue Rocks Baseball Club is looking for a 9U player to finish off our 2013 summer tournament season. We'll play 3-5 in town tournaments over the next few months. Our team is based around good players and a positive coaching staff. Players must be baseball minded, athletic and able to play several positions effectively. Our coaches are interested in furthering our players current abilities...we are not interested in teaching them how to play the game from scratch. The Blue Rocks are a talented group of boys, with terrific families. We have great coaching, sponsors, and plan to be together for the long haul...we aren't looking for year over year turn around, as we want these boys to develop into a cohesive group of winning players with good sportsmanship. 9AA/AAA FCS Warriors looking to fill our last spot for the 2013 season and beyond. We have a very strong team and play/practice throughout the year. We’re be playing in the Lee’s Summit Spring league in the National league as well as playing weekend tournaments (approximately two per month). Any position will be considered as we have a very talented and athletic group of boys who can play several positions. Head coach has been coaching youth baseball and fastpitch softball for many years with numerous coaching references available. This is a great group of boys and parents. We want to fill our last spot with a young man who is similar in talent and good personality fit with our other boys. We will play a lot of ball but will work around other sports as needed.
