2008 National League Registration
15U - 18U

Registration is for an entire team.  There is no individual player registration.

Early registration is limited to Lee's Summit teams after which, if space is available, registration will be opened to non-Lee's Summit teams.

Only Lee's Summit teams may register prior to January 17 , 2008. A Lee's Summit team is a team that has no more than five non-Lee's Summit players. A Lee's Summit player is one who lives within the boundaries of the Lee's Summit school district and/or the City of Lee's Summit.

Non-Lee's Summit teams may register from January 18, 2008 through March 17, 2008.

Ages will be based on High School grade and age. In the High School divisions, if a player does not meet age restriction, they must play in the next higher division.

15U-HS Freshman cannot turn 17 before 1 August 2008

16U-HS Sophomore cannot turn 18 before 1 August 2008

18U-HS Senior, Junior, Sophomore, or Freshman cannot turn 20 before 1 August 2008

The team fee is $1,500.

The remaining $1,000 is due April 17, 2008.

Manager check-in will be May 6 with a place to be determined.

Divisions will play double headers on random days, including weekends .

Each division will play a fourteen game schedule.

Games will begin in late May and the last games will be played in the second week of July.

Make-up games may be played at Lea McKeighan or Lee's Summit North High School.

Depending on weather, a "make-up game weekend" may be established later in the league season called "DON'T PLAY IN AN OUT OF TOWN TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEND"  

There will be a single elimination, end of season, tournament. All teams qualify, but are not required to play.

Game baseballs are provided to all teams.

Teams are responsible for obtaining their own uniforms and equipment.

There is no fund raiser.

No practice field guarantee. Availability of fields is unknown at this time.

Managers must complete a Background Check Form and submit it at manager check in.

Rosters are due at the manager check-in meeting. The blank roster form from the LSBA website must be used and filled out including all players signatures. Attached shall be a verification of date of birth of each player. This can be a copy of a birth certificate or drivers license. Do not bring any origionals.

The Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation Board requires that all managers receive at least two hours of training annually. More information will be given for further details.

All managers are required to be LSBA members. Membership cards may be purchased for $5 at the manager check-in meeting.
