National League High School

The National League High School is a competitive league for players ages 15 through 18. Individual players do not register for this leagues, registration is by team only and allows LeeÂ’s Summit based teams register to play in a competitive environment.
 
Early registration is limited to Lee's Summit teams after which, if space is available, registration will be opened to non-Lee's Summit teams beginning January 17, 2010.  Online registration is open through April 30, 2010.  A Lee's Summit team is a team that has no more than five non-Lee's Summit players. A Lee's Summit player is one who lives within the boundaries of the Lee's Summit school district and/or the City of Lee's Summit. 

The team fee is $1,500.  A non-refundable $500 deposit by credit card is required at the time of registration.
The remaining $1,000 is due April 30, 2010.

Manager check-in will be mid May, 2010, at a place to be determined.

Ages will be based on High School grade and age. In the High School divisions, if a player does not meet age restriction, they must play in the next higher division.

16U- Player will not turn age 17 by April 30, 2010 or is a HS Sophomore that will not turn 18 by April 30, 2010.
18U- Player will not turn age 19 by April 30, 2010 or is a HS Senior that will not turn 20 by April 30, 2010.

Divisions will play double headers on random days, Monday - Thursday.
Each division will play a 14 game schedule plus all teams will be provided entry into the MO-KAN State Tune Up Tournament June 18-20.
Games will begin in late May and the last games will be played around the second week of July.

Make-up games may be played at Legacy or Lee's Summit North High School.
Depending on weather, a "make-up game weekend" will be established June 25-27 called "DON'T PLAY IN AN OUT OF TOWN TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEND"

Coaches– Please Note: Game baseballs are provided to all teams. Practice fields are provided to Lee's Summit teams. Teams are responsible for obtaining their own uniforms and equipment.
The Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation Board requires that all managers receive at least two hours of training annually. More information will be given for further details.

The following dates have been scheduled for training:
Monday March 15th, 7:00-9:00. Legacy Community Center.
Monday April 19th, 7:00-9:00. Legacy Community Center.

All managers and coaches must complete a Background Check Form and submit it at manager check in.

Rosters are due at the manager check-in meeting mid May 2010 at a place to be determined. The blank roster form from the LSBA website must be used and filled out including all parents’ and players’ signatures. Attached shall be a verification of date of birth of each player.
